As I get ready to try to wow the audience at South by Southwest with — something strange with iPods — the incredible Phil Torrone has a sizable head start. Phil says on his blog flashenabled he's working on "shuffle sunglasses, universal IR remote, solar-powered and charged, network storage and syncing." (see flickr photos)
Of course, being of a software slant myself in my justifications for
Apple toys, I'm going another direction. I'm thinking of creating an
entirely aleatoric electronica piece by loading little clips onto the
shuffle and hitting random, then jamming along with another iPod, maybe
a GameBoy or DS or PocketPC, too. Stay tuned. Any other ideas? What's
your Shuffle rationalization?
