Yes, I fell off the face of the earth after Tuesday's NAMM update, but CDM will be back to its normal broadcast schedule Tuesday February 1. But if you're in NYC Sunday, you'll have a great way to pass the time:

Lemur touchscreen comes to NYC! Share, the weekly Manhattan portable computer music/video jam now at Subtonic, has an incredible lineup for this Sunday 1/31: David Last is upstairs ($8 admission) at Tonic for a CD release party, while downstairs Share will embark in its new home. The Share folks tell us: "Guillaume Largillier (co-inventor of LEMUR) & Franck Stofer (of jazzmutant.com, the manufacturer of LEMUR) will be giving FREE demo/workshop/performance in early hours! This is to be the only NY presentation."

Be there at 6p sharp for the workshop; there's even some talk of beta-testing. Game Boy musician Aonami (Tsushima Motoki) from Japan will round out the evening.

In NYC? Email me if you make it; send some notes and/or photos and I'll print your report!
