Just when we think we’ve covered all the July deals, some big flash sales have squeezed in this weekend, including some major discounts over at Reverb.com from now through August 7.

If you buy something from a CDM link, we may earn a commission.

Reverb Summer of Savings event

Reverb.com has its Summer of Savings sales event starting now, including some really steep b-stock discounts from resellers on their marketplace. Check out the full event details:

The big offer at the moment is the mighty Novation Summit, Novation’s beautiful 16-voice, 61-key polyphonic flagship, in an exclusive deal for US$1,839.99 ($460 off). (Read the Sound on Sound review from 2019.)

There’s also this audio interface + headphones + mic bundle from Universal Audio, which looks excellent as a spare rig for podcasting and on-the-go-recording or as a gift. I’ve tried the new UA mics and interfaces, and they’re really good values at full price. Here the whole pack is $299 ($130 off).

Universal Audio Volt 276 Studio Pack

By the way, I’ve been getting this question a lot as a certain manufacturer is better known for low-end synths at the moment, and about whether there are alternatives. But you’ll find a ton of under-$500 synths on Reverb, including a lot of my favorites. (I love compact and focused synths!) Uh, once I take you down this rabbit hole, you could wind up splurging on a nice module or winding up with an Ace Tone FR-6. Fair warning. Check them here:

Soundtoys sale, Plugin Alliance

Also, Soundtoys does have this flash sale on now, as a reminder. That includes upgrades, some individual effects (I use the heck out of Little AlterBoy, even on things like drums), and the Effect Rack (which also serves as a nice bundle). Almost out of time – this expires after Sunday July 30.

You can grab everything that’s on sale on the Plugin Alliance sale page – where you also get a Baby Audio freebie with purchase:

While we’re over there, I had totally missed that there’s a flash sale on one of my favorite devs, Tokyo Dawn Labs. Their EQs are discounted right now, plus their bundles. But honestly, even the usual price on their TDR Molot GE gives you one of the best compressors you’ll ever need (both for everyday use and coloration).
