I don’t care who you are. Odds are, your musical instrument collection is nowhere near as large, strange, and wonderful as Eric Schneider’s. I covered his vast Web collection in March, and he wrote to let me know that it’s gotten larger: near 200 pieces, more than can fit online.

Recently, Eric did manage to update his Website with some of the best new additions: miniorgan now chronicles still more forgotten synths and toys. One of the best is the 1972 Tomy Voice Corder. This Japanese rarity lets you roll your own dub plates, recording from a microphone onto plastic foil phonographs. This is no eBay find: Eric’s been assembling contacts in Japan. Eric, color us jealous.
