The fine plug-in-smith of Valhalla gives us another free plug-in. And this time, it’s a gorgeous flanger / doubling effect, perfect for thickening up your tracks.
So, first it was Supermassive. That effect is capable of all kinds of things beyond its obvious endless reverb possibilities – here’s one example of how people are using it:
ValhallaSpaceModulator is an “infinite” flanger/doubler. As with Supermassive, the trick here is that there are loads of different algorithms lurking beneath those conventional flanger controls:
Eleven algorithms allow you to get through-zero flanging, barberpole flanging, detuning, doubling, strange echoes, reverbs, and all sorts of effects that defy description.
Plus really the best part of this is that it’s a Looney Tunes / Marvin the Martian reference.
