It’s in the grand tradition of communities like the demoscene, but features algorithmic invention that has lots of people excited. Friend-of-the-site and Brooklyn-based artist Kyle McDonald naturally takes up the gauntlet to translate the same ideas into imagery, and what we’re left with is an optical artefact (artifice?) of the same idea.
