1995 saw the PlayStation launch title from Pygnosis that launched the combination of futuristic anti-gravity racing and 90s rave music – complete with music by legendary Welsh game composer CoLD SToRAGE that holds up alongside later editions with Leftfield, The Chemical Brothers, and Orbital. And now it’s in a browser port of a source code leak – and it’s a fascinating technical portrait while it lasts.
