Yeah, it’s time for the 4th of July-midsommer-full moon in Capricorn-GAS shopping guide round-up. Ramageddon may have come for your game consoles and computers, but for now, your synths and drum machines and software have some discounts! Phew.
I hate to interrupt from adoptive home Berlin, Germany, if you’re doing something celebrating the true uniqueness of my dear native USA, like cracking open a cold pilsner, grilling up some brats and frankfurters, dishing out the potato salad, and then getting some Apfelkuchen for dessert. Sorry, I mean “apple pie.” (Wait… huh.)
But, as always, I’m the prince of darkness here to remind you that you absolutely do need another synth and another plug-in. Also, it’s Thomann Music Days, an important European holiday.
If you buy something from a CDM link, we may earn a commission.

Perfect Circuit 4th of July sale
It’s good some of us are not in the shipping area of the USA, because Perfect Circuit’s sale is full of beautifully curated modules, synths, and gear. Up to 50% off sale items, and code SUMMER10 gets you 10% off most things that aren’t on sale.
Most exciting: the Bastl Instruments lineup is on sale!
Thyme+ Desktop Digital Tape Delay (pictured above)
Plus, my favorite Pizza Crust and Pizza oscillator modules, too. And the Bestie 5-channel stereo mixer with distortion and feedback (below). And a lot more.

ATOV Faderpunk Hackable Modulator is discounted — had my eyes on this one. (Yeah, I need to write about it — stay tuned.)

Much of Shakmat Modular’s stuff is on sale — really one of my favorite modular makers. That includes gems like the Bard Quartet Four-Channel Quantizer, pictured above.

Korg summer sale
Okay, you don’t have to take up more space in your studio. It’s the Korg Summer Sale, including upgrades and crossgrades that make the Korg Collection far more appealing. I’m especially addicted to Korg’s vintage plug-ins (hello, Trinity).
Runs through July 21. Plug-in Boutique has the full selection:

Sweetwater July 4th sale picks
I’m not sure when this sale actually ends — I’m guessing it’s at least the whole weekend. But Sweetwater has up to 60% off and free shipping, with deals in all categories. I’ll stick to the stuff I know here; some examples:
Sequential Fourm for $899 ($100 off) – I love this friendly 4-voice all-analog polysynth; you can read the detailed behind-the-scenes story I did last fall. Heck, get this for someone you love and tell them to start a band.

PreSonus ATOM 16-pad Performance Controller for $114.99. I forgot about this one; that’s like, impulse buy territory (though it’s inexpensive at normal pricing, too!)

Soundtoys 5.5 bundle for $349 ($250 off). I forget Sweetwater does software; this is a rare deal on one of our all-time favorite collections of plug-ins.

Thomann Music Days
Here in Germany and shipping across Europe, Thomann also runs one of its bigger sales of the year now, with 60% off.
One example — the svelte, very customizable Novation Launch Control 3 is discounted at 133€ (above). I’ve got one on my desk (plus the Launch Control XL 3 with faders in the studio), and I’ve been mapping away some fun VCV Rack patches.
Totally not part of the sale, but now it’s July, which means the Akai MPC Sample will finally be in stock in about a week.
So is that cute Teenage Engineering EP-136 mixer, 189€.
Summer Claus, I’ve been very good for the … first half of the year …

Applied Acoustics Summer Sale – up to 50% off
If AAS makes it, it’s on sale – bundles, plug-ins, and sound packs up to 50% off, and even some flash sales with deeper discounts.
Check out the complete Summer Sale over at AAS.
And you’ll find discounts at Plugin Boutique, too, on the full AAS range.
Let’s single out two. The brand-new Objeq Delay 2 I reviewed this year is on sale for 20% off:
I also have to mention my perennial obsession, the Multiphonics CV-3 modular, which is 50% off — plus discounts on upgrades and more.
AAS Multiphonics CV-3 + Expansions
Review on the latest in that one:
More plug-in deals
Ooh, some tasty choices here. I’ll just rapid-fire these — I do use all of these, as well.

UAD Sound City Studios Plugin for $34

It’s one of those times of year when the UA sales are actually really deep UA sales, so check their whole category.
Universal Audio Plugins up to 86% off

AudioThing sale on plug-ins, bundles (including Noises, above)

Unfiltered Audio SILO granular reverb for $30
Most of those run through the month of July.
That’s what I’ve got. Shout if you spot more deals! Now I do want a pilsner, actually.
