It’s not every day you get to see this lineup – Moog Music meets the Bob Moog Foundation with Michelle Moog-Koussa, Lisa Bella Donna, Suzanne Ciani, Brian Kehew, Steve Dunnington, King Britt, and Rory Kaplan. Moog just posted the video from NAMM last month. And speaking of the Moog Foundation, they’ve also got a big raffle going – and, surprise, it’s for an Oberheim synth, not a Moog.

This panel is just epic; it’s great to see these folks onstage together. From the original modular hardware to iPad apps, they cover just about everything:

So yes, this is about Moog Music, and even the new owners inMusic. But I’d say what we do in synthesis is always between history and invention. So speaking of all-star lineups, here you’ve got Tom Oberheim, Mary Curtis, and Marcus Ryle introducing the Matrix-12 raffle and co-creator Michel Doidic talking about how it came about.

So, apologies to Moog for hijacking your post with the vintage Oberheim we all crave, but hey, it’s all in the family – literally! Here’s where to go to support the work Michelle and the team at the Bob Moog Foundation are doing:
