Isadora 4 updates the deep media tool for artists – now with remote powers
Isadora, the node-based, open-ended live performance and media tool especially loved by theater and dance, gets a major update this summer. There’s a lot in there, but the biggest is something called IzzyCast, a remote functionality that lets you run any video, audio, and data in full resolution around the world. Resolume 7.21: Transform widgets, group parameters, new tutorials
Resolume Arena, Avenue, and Wire got a nice little bump update as this media server / live visual platform continues to excel. That includes features other environments should copy, like an easy transform widget and group-able, fold-able parameters for inputs.
TouchDesigner will add POPs for GPU-powered 3D operations
Points, polygons, point clouds, particles, line strips – and therefore simulations of everything from fog to cloth and collision – are now getting a powerful set of operators in TouchDesigner.
