Reverb’s marketplace is host to another brand running an exclusive sale – and this time, both the USA and Europe get to enjoy. Polyend’s full-sized Tracker is 40% off in their Reverb shop, for US$359 or less (USA) / €399 (Europe). Plus in other deal news, it’s your last chance on some summer sales, if there are some plug-ins you’ve been eyeing. It’s the last days of summer CDM Deals edition, or “back to school”, or … “just leave me alone to play with Tracker for the rest of the year”, you pick.

If you buy something from a CDM link, we may earn a commission.

Okay, first up, the one that’s likely to go viral – yeah, Tracker is at a bargain-basement discount saving you hundreds of bucks/Euros. This is the 2020 original Polyend Tracker – that’s the one with the big screen and spacious grid.

It’s a big savings over either the current pricing of Tracker or Tracker Mini, but you do sacrifice some of the Mini’s features. This original Tracker doesn’t have a built in mic or memory, or stereo samples. But you get a big 12 x 4 grid of backlit input pads, a jog wheel, and even an FM radio – plus some may prefer the larger form factor. The two models are compatible, too. Plus the Mini isn’t even shipping yet; it’s in preorder mode.

Honestly, as I do my sample prep elsewhere and a lot of tracker samples you might use in mono (there’s still a stereo output and stereo FX), I’d even tend to prefer the original Tracker for that grid – let alone at this price.

Tracker is also getting firmware updates just like Tracker Mini, so I think this is a device with a big future.

Last deals of summer

A bunch of summer sales are expiring soon – some end of August, some in the early days of September. Here goes:

AAS has their 50% off sale on their website, expiring soon. Check out the summer sale on their site:

Or find them at Plugin Boutique:

XLN has a 40% off sale going. That includes a bunch of great drum tools, but also their innovative XO plug-in which uses AI to organize the files on your hard drive, which… remains my main dream for AI. It’s still your samples, just made into this constellation of colored samples. (My God… it’s full of stars.)

Transit, an interesting transition tool made in a collaboration between Baby Audio and Andrew Huang, is out as an intro sale for 40% off:

Baby Audio Transit

Plugin Boutique also has an exclusive bundle of Arturia’s Acid V and V Collection together – since Acid V isn’t yet part of that collection.

Acid V + V Collection exclusive

Some other deals from Plugin Boutique put prices around ten bucks for a bunch of plug-ins – though about to expire:

Native Instruments FM8 for $10

Moogerfooger Ring Mod for $10

Softube Passive/Active EQ pack for $19

See more Plugin Boutique deals, as there are too many even for me.

Plus Minimal Audio has 30% off their stuff, which you can also grab at Plugin Boutique through August, or on the Minimal web shop through September 10. That includes the brilliant Fuse multi-band compressor, which I’ve been reviewing – watch for that in the next few days (just finishing up that draft, but I’m a big believer in multi-band compression).

Audio Damage deal

Just caught this in my inbox, and – lots of love for Audio Damage as one of the great independent brands. I think theirs were some of the first plug-ins I covered on CDM, when the site started (during the rise of the Nation-State in western Europe or the Visigoth invasion of Rome or something).

They turned 20, so through September 1, they’re offering 40% off anything. TWODECADES is the checkout code.

If you’re broke, though, don’t miss their free & legacy section. At least some of those run on modern machines, too (like Rough Rider 3). Call that the 100% off deal:

Actually we definitely need some all-free deals coming up, so tips recommended and – if you have deals we missed, let us know in comments.
