Sinevibes Quarta: 10 FX, 4 zones on the pocket-sized NTS-3 kaoss pad

Korg’s NTS-3 is an absolute joy — a cute, pocket-sized, inexpensive kit that you can load up with custom effects. But that gets even more interesting once you add Sinevibes’ library of effects. And now you get one especially created for the X/Y pad. I’ve been testing a prerelease build, and this is a return to everything that I love about kaoss. And oops — here’s the perfect pocket live/DJ effect.

Korg woodland adventure: phase8 add-ons, Sinevibes DSP, and NTS mixer

Deep in the forest of Superbooth earlier this month, Korg showed off some up-and-coming gems, if you knew where to look. That included a compact NTS mixer, updated Sinevibes effects for Korg gear, and add-ons for the phase 8 “acoustic synthesizer,” including effects you can 3D-print. I’ve done some digging on what it’s about.

Sinevibes Cache has turned into a buffer-mangling, playable breaks machine

Oh, Cache is good as a Mac/Windows/Linux effect — flip, repeat, stretch, robotize, and generally go buffer-mad. But you expected that from a Sinevibes plug-in. The joy here is that now you can really play. Connect a MIDI keyboard, and Cache is a breaks-friendly, sound transmorgrifying effect instrument.
