EboSuite and its 3D, Unreal Engine-powered companion, SenSei, put video and visuals into your Ableton Live set, plus integrate easily with other live visual tools and workflows. And now both are on a special Spring Sale — plus SenSei gets another update with more tools. (No, not the one I just mentioned — even another one.) Mac, Windows, Syphon, Spout — go.

EboSuite is already a massively powerful tool with deep video support. And it supports ISF (Interactive Shader Format) — so when I was geeking out about math with Vidvox on PI day, the shaders you make for ISF work in these tools, too. Syphon and Spout support means you can also route these plug-ins into existing tools like Resolume, TouchDesigner, VDMX, and more.

SenSei, meanwhile, is a revelation, and it just keeps developing. It’s powered by Unreal Engine, but you don’t need any skills in Unreal or its dizzying editor to use it. (In fact, it’s even a great way to prototype stuff quickly, even if you are interested in delving into Unreal on your own later.)

I wrote about how this brought interactive 3D visuals to Ableton Live when it launched in November. Then last month, we got a major update with 27 new plug-ins and the ability to add meshes and video easily in SenSei.

Now we have another 15 plug-ins, with version 2.15 — they tell us that’s 12 new particle systems, two new 3D video effects, and a new Impact addition. In total:

12 particle system plugins:

  • Aether
  • Bloblet
  • Circlerder
  • Drift
  • Gracious
  • HexShield
  • LavaSpheres
  • Residue
  • SineCurl
  • Spiralide
  • Static
  • Trailor

Two 3D video effect plugins:

  • Spiralor
  • Mecha 01

…and one new Impact plugin: “SpikeHit.”

Spring Sale gets you 20% off the price, either individually, adding onto your EboSuite license, or with the full bundle.

That makes EboSuite €105, SenSei for €109, or bundled together for €189:

If you buy something from a CDM link, we may earn a commission.

I’ll try to make some visuals with this shortly, but meanwhile, you can use your imagination with those names. And there’s this excellent showreel from EboStudio — as they’re also using these tools in their own work. It’s always inspiring to see folks expanding their work professionally, both on the tools and commissions side.
