Ableton Live 12.3 is out of beta; it’s time to liven up your Live setup (plus Ableton Move and Push and Novation Circuit Tracks). Black Friday deals have these at the lowest prices you’ll see all year, so if you’re stocking up for winter or holiday breaks, we’ve got you. These are tools to solve some problems, add some inspiration, and even just make your Live setup look better.

Isotonik Studios
Discounts: 30% off at checkout, limited-edition bundles of 70% off
Deadline: Runs until December 1
Our friends over at Isotonik have established themselves as virtual stockists of a lot of our favorite Max for Live developers, which is great news for users and developers alike — some of the digital sales “platforms” have disappointed in 2025. So I have no problem recommending Isotonik’s curated lineup.
They’ve got an interesting twist this year, the limited-edition Isotonik Allstairs. They’re goodie bags full of delicious stuff, nicely selected by Isotonik Studios. They’ve even got one for Novation Circuit Tracks, so it’s not only Ableton Live Suite/Max for Live. After 100 of these bundles sell, the bundle disappears forever.
They’re also not bad ways of exploring the catalog of what’s out there. Here’s the rundown:
Ableton One: This one’s all about signal processing and production. MonoMono vintage console emulation, bus processing racks from PerforModule, Noiss Coko pitch-shifting delay, White Horse dual pitch shifter, Elisabeth Homeland batch control and workflow Toggle Suite, Amazing Noises sonic destruction stuff, and a three-strand polyrhythmic sequencer from Manifest Audio.
Ableton Two: More polyrthmic and experimental timing with HEAP MIDI Tools One, more Monomono goodness with vintage EQ + tape saturation + optical compression, Noiss Coko Movers Pack, INFRA_Light ultra-dark custom themes, Ned Rush’s probabilistic Nedit sampler, and LDM’s MPE-compatible randomization devices.
Ableton Three: does generative MIDI with Chamber Sound, has a gorgeous Italian polysynth, the legendary Push Mute mode bringing Elektron-style muting to your Push, more Noiss Coko control and automation and randomization things, Mudjaq’s wild organic sequencer, and Dillon Bastan’s wonderful Coalescence neural network concatenative sampler.
Plus go check out the dedicated hardware bundles:

For more inspiration, the round-up I ran for Isotonik Studios’ Darren on his birthday still holds!
But there have been some other newcomers, too. Remember the MD2 Pack for Live and Move? There’s now a more experimental follow-up focused on synthesis bits. It’s a great way to get a head-start on sound design elements and percussion parts and synth bits, so you can focus on tweaking, improv, and song ideas:

Plus, the sale means it’s the best deal on the Deafman themes I’ve been recommending for some time:
Complete Collection Themes by Deafman.SKWS
I’m also excited by the White Horse sequencer. It’s overdue having something like this as a native (Max for Live) Live device:
Manifest Audio
Discounts: 30% off at checkout (also at Isotonik Studios, though the sale expires Dec 1 there!)
Deadline: Runs until December 3
Manifest Audio has some of the best Ableton Live stuff anywhere, from data sonification tools to modulation. But I want to call particular attention to the MIDI Generators and Transformers. Ableton introduced these with Live 12, opening up the Clip View to new possibilities for spawning and processing patterns. But developer Noah Pred is one of the few people who have really tapped into that potential; I like these even better than the stock Ableton tools. (See also Isotonik’s all-MIDI Tools category.)
These make that oft-overlooked tool well worth a second look. “Create intricate polymetric sequences with Metagrid, weave evolving compositions with Metaloom, remix patterns probabilistically with Rematrix, and convert visual noise with Scantron. Then reshape your MIDI clips using Monotizer, Multiswap, Paraswap, Quantographer, Refractor, Replacer, Seeker, and Teleport.”
And then there are v2 versions of some of Noah’s other excellent tools. Here are some of those tips in one place:
And here’s a deep dive into Rhythm Engine:
And hot off the presses, Rhythm Engine now has a Grid mode in its free 1.1 update:

No money? No problem! Noah’s got a ton of free stuff:

Going the other direction, want everything? Now you can. It’s bigger than even any official update.
Everyday low prices…

Okay, it’s not on Black Friday pricing, but I love Rainbow Circuit’s stuff any time, so also worth a look while you’re shopping:
And then there’s the super-inspiring work of Kentaro, which to me includes some of the most inspiring UIs in music software right now:
No Black Friday prices, no affiliate link, just love! Between this scene and the stuff happening over in Plug Data land, what an inspiring time both for music making and music device making!
…and I’m sure I missed other entries, so feel free to add them here!
Sonic Bloom Mix Tools
Excellent deal here from Sonic Bloom:
And a reminder of other great free things! (new with Live 12.3 — another gift from Iftah!)
Yo, dawg
Okay, indulge me … ah, memories. Sure, I had given my car to my aunt and didn’t even own a vehicle when this show came on (NYC life), and yes, the entire show was basically fake, but…
I’ll let you substitute the headline here, like, in your head or whatever.
Now speaking of that, I’m off to install those Deafman themes in my Ableton Live instance. I am not lying when I say I enjoy music-making more this way. I mean, you don’t want to live in a Holiday Inn hotel room, either!
