It’s Memorial Day in the USA, Whit Monday in Germany and other parts of the West, and since what’s truly sacred is shopping, that means some deals running through the end of the day.

Perfect Circuit

Perfect Circuit’s Memorial Day Sale has their usual, nicely curated list of sale items. And if you don’t see what you had your heart set on, no worries: MEMORIAL10 takes 10% off most other items. There’s too much, so I’ll pick three items:

RYK Modular Time Slice 4-Channel Audio Looper, a unique, CV-controllable looper, real-time delay, pitch shifter, sculptor in 26HP of Eurorack glory;
Oddment ODD-1, a powerful ARM-based 8-voice polyphonic granular synthesizer; (above; featured at top)

and lastly, the beautiful Monolit MIDI controller, compact and minimalist in design but with a ton of features packed inside.
There are lots of other specific discounts in addition to that aforementioned 10% off storewide (mostly):

Plugin Boutique
It’s not a Memorial Day (or, uh, Pfingsten) thing, but the folks over at Plugin Boutique have a bunch of discounts on as always.

A huge deal through tomorrow: Plugin Boutique has the SSL Native X-Comp for 90% off or US$10.
There’s an exclusive deal on Universal Audio’s officially authorized Minimoog Model D plug-in for $29 — 80% off — through May 29.

And all their Roland Cloud synths are 50% off or even more, through May 31. Don’t like subscriptions? Here’s the best chance I’ve seen all year to get the plug-ins you want as a lifetime key from Roland. That includes stuff you won’t find elsewhere, like the D-50 and JD-800 and SH-2 and even deep cuts like the XV-5080; I actually use the digital stuff more than the analog modeling (really).

And celebrate a Very Rhodes Summer, as the unparalleled modeling of the Rhodes stuff is up to 50% off through May 29:

And one more: Baby Audio’s Smooth Operator is nearly half off for new users and only $29 (77% off) for upgrades.
Grab that and then avail yourself of the free preset library I built for this (which I do genuinely return to in my work):
Guitar Center
From the center that is more than just guitars, there’s up to 30% off for Memorial Day, through May 27.
Let’s pick just one deal: how about a Moog Subharmonicon for $499? No? How about the DFAM, Labyrinth, Spectravox bundle and accessories on sale? (Sorry, that’s two deals… I want that second one actually!)

Those were not guitars. I’m sorry. I’m still protecting my delicate, flower-like fingertips. It’s okay, mustard can touch it; that’s like moisturizing.

Sweetwater
Our friends over in Indiana have a lot going on, including:

Recording month – up to 50% off – “Track. Mix. Master. Save.” – covers everything from software discounts (like Reason 14 Rack plug-in for an exclusive $149) to audio gear (like the SSL USB-C audio interface with a mic and headphones bundled free).
Headphone sale – up to 45% off covers a bunch of desirable headphones. But summer is coming, so I personally just want to go for some BBQ picnic on the Ohio River with that JBL Boombox 4. (hey, I’ve been away from my home river valley for a long while…)

Thomann, Live
Thomann has up to 50% on live gear, from PAs to mics, running during its Thomann Live Days promotion. That turns out to be useful even if you’re looking for some DMX equipment, for instance, but could be dangerous if you’re tempted by things like neon tubes or a fog machine. (But it comes with 5L free juice!!) Yeah, definitely don’t trust me on this particular category; I’m the guy leaning on the fogger button. Find all the deals:
Anyway, happy bank holiday/ordinary Monday/whatever it is going on in your part of the world.
Grabbing a Windows license, including for emulation — so, I like to give as little money to Microsoft as humanly possible; MacHeist is how I got the Windows license for my copy of Parallels (which runs incredibly well in its ARM version on my M1 MacBook Pro). They’ve got Windows 11 for $9.97 right now, as low as I’ve seen it. And then you can pick up Parallels, which is now 45% off all editions. That was good enough for me to run some really old Windows audio software, plus a bunch of modern games.
