Here’s a gorgeous line of unique plug-in gems to keep around, even if on an older machine. The one-person BlueLab has discontinued development, but now is the time to grab these Mac and Windows plugs.
Find macOS and WIndows AU / VST / VST3 / AAX plug-ins for everything. Unfortunately, Catalina+ support is limited so now is the time to grab an older machine if you’re on the Mac, or just use Windows. (Linux betas were also in development but are labeled “unusable.”)
There’s some gorgeous stuff for creative sound design here. (I have a Mac machine running Mojave for this purpose, so it’ll be glad for the additions.) You’ll find unusual visualization approaches and some exotic processing / remixing tools amidst the other more bread-and-butter options.
And yeah, folks with older hardware complaining about cost and upgrades, here’s a unique ticket out. I wish the best for the developer in other endeavors.
